This 1975 Airstream Argosy is a 26’ dual-axle aluminum and steel travel trailer that was partially refurbished under previous ownership with work including replacement of the electrical system, plumbing, floor, cabinets, sink, lighting, shower, stereo, stove, and water pump. The trailer was acquired by the seller in 2020 and subsequent updates have consisted of installing a dinette that converts into a twin bed, Dometic refrigerator, flush toilet and HVAC system, remote-controlled ZOiZ ceiling vent fan, side-mount city water inlet with water regulator, gas detectors, and Weboost Drive X wifi booster as well as replacing the running lights, reupholstering and painting the interior, and adding wallpaper. Features include a hardwood floor, sink and standing shower, bathroom with a toilet, a sofa and dinette that convert into beds, and a kitchenette with a mini refrigerator, sink, and four-burner stovetop.
The trailer measures 26′ and features red and white aluminum body panels with steel front and rear dome segments, roof-mounted vents, and external utility access panels. Equipment includes a roof-mounted Dometic Atwood HVAC unit, clearance lights, water and power outlets, two 20-lb LPG bottles, a flag pole bracket, and a back window cover. The exterior city water inlet features a built-in water regulator, and the camper is equipped with separate black and gray water tanks. The screen door has been removed.
Steel wheels with polished hub caps are fitted with 205/75 Carlisle Radial Trail tires, and a matching spare mounted to the front of the trailer. The trailer tongue features an Equal-i-zer Hitch with four-point sway control. The chassis is equipped with drum brakes, and a set of X-Chock tire-locking chocks are included in the sale.
The interior features a hardwood floor installed under previous ownership and white paint and brick-patterned wallcovering. Storage equipment includes overhead cabinets with roll-up doors, and painted wood cabinets. Sleeping for three is comprised of a fold-out couch and a dinette that converts into a twin bed. Additional amenities installed under current ownership consist of a deadbolt door lock, Dometic Dual air conditioner and heater, a Weboost Drive X wifi booster, and propane and carbon monoxide alarms. The wall-mounted speakers and CD stereo with a USB input were installed.
The kitchenette features a white countertop, bottle-top backsplash, stainless sink, Dometic gas/electric mini fridge, and a four-burner gas stove. The refrigerator, stove, and plumbing have been replaced.
The rear of the trailer features a pull-out sofa bed upholstered in white stain-resistant cloth as well as a white sideboard cabinet with center drawers and side doors with hidden latches.
The bathroom features subway tile stick-on sheets and vertical teak veneer wallcoverings, a full-size Dometic toilet with foot-pedal operation and a spray wand, a stainless steel sink, and storage cabinets as well as a stand-up shower with a galvanized steel tub and teak plank floor.
